By booking or participating in a BMX lesson through BMXLessons.ca, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Assumption of Risk

BMX riding is an inherently risky activity. It involves physical exertion, balance, and navigating obstacles in public skateparks.

By participating in a lesson, you acknowledge that injuries — including but not limited to falls, sprains, or more serious incidents — may occur.

2. Release of Liability

By taking part in any lesson arranged through BMXLessons.ca, you agree that:

• You ride at your own risk

• You are solely responsible for your safety and actions during the lesson

• BMXLessons.ca and its instructors are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from your participation

This includes injuries that may occur at skateparks, on the way to lessons, or during any activity related to the lesson.

3. Parental Supervision for Minors

Riders under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times during the lesson.

Instructors reserve the right to cancel or refuse a lesson if no guardian is present.

4. Safety Gear Requirement

A helmet is mandatory for all riders.

Additional safety gear such as knee pads, elbow pads, and gloves is highly recommended.

If you arrive without appropriate safety equipment, the instructor may choose to cancel the lesson for your own safety.

5. Weather, Cancellations & Rescheduling

Lessons may be rescheduled due to unsafe weather conditions (e.g. rain, snow, wet park surfaces). Your instructor will communicate directly to confirm rescheduling.

6. Instructors as Independent Providers

All instructors listed on BMXLessons.ca operate as independent service providers.

BMXLessons.ca provides the platform to connect riders with instructors, but does not directly employ or supervise instructors.

7. Code of Conduct

We expect all riders to treat instructors, skateparks, and fellow park users with respect. Unsafe, reckless, or disrespectful behaviour may result in the lesson being stopped without refund.
